OT Exploration...
Hello. My name is Rachel Hagemeyer. I am a second year occupational therapy (OT) student at Creighton University Medical Center. This semester, I am in a class called “Creative Occupations” learning many methods of incorporating creativity into therapy. This is done in order to keep clients engaged and motivated while working towards their goals. This website is one of the assignments in the class. It offers visitors information regarding occupational therapy and creative occupations as well as reflections on my own experiences. I hope each and every person is able to leave my site with some degree of knowledge and excitement about the wonderful world of occupational therapy and the ability to empower individuals while helping to increase their quality of life.
