Adapted Arts for All
Follow the link to my reflection on an in class experience during which we were able to use Arts for All adaptive equipment to do pogo painting, sidewalk chalk, and press painting. Arts for All is a great organization that allows people with various needs free access to creative arts. This experience allowed my class to see how much fun and excitement the activities can elicit, as well as the beautiful art that can be produced.

Memories in the Making
Follow the link to my reflection on an exciting program we learned about in class. Memories in the Making is a creative arts expression program used for people with Alzheimer's. By allowing patients to create art to express themselves, they give those people and their families back teh sense of connection. The program showed me the importance of human connection and the beauty that lies behind the surface of each and every person and the "words" they want to share with the world and those they love.
